<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image display device and an electronic apparatus capable of displaying a good looking color image. <P>SOLUTION: The color image display device 101 having a unit pixel 10 composed of a plurality of sub-pixels, includes: a first sub-pixel 11 for displaying a first color, which is a component of the unit pixel 10; a second sub-pixel 12a for displaying a second color, which is a component of the unit pixel 10; a third sub-pixel 13 for displaying a third color, which is a component of the unit pixel; and a fourth sub-pixel 12b which is the same as, or comparatively close to the second sub-pixel in a peak wave length.
