<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sealing a vitrification tool, with which productive cells are frozen, contaminations with viruses and various germs are prevented during operation for preservation in a storage container, productive cells are rapidly cooled without being directly brought into contact with liquid nitrogen and are kept in a stable state in the freezing storage container. <P>SOLUTION: The method for sealing a vitrification tool comprises adsorbing a sealing agent composed of a high-viscosity liquid having no toxicity on the tip part of the freezing storage container having stored a freezing liquid containing productive cells, immersing the container in liquid nitrogen, more rapidly freezing the sealing agent and closing and sealing the tip part of the freezing container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
