PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the straw feeder of a cup type automatic vending machine for appropriately and surely inserting a straw into a cup with beverage even when beverage is frozen beverage or half-solid beverage. SOLUTION: This straw feeder 1 of a cup type automatic vending machine for feeding a straw S to a cup C in which beverage is poured is provided with a straw input device 3 for inputting the straw S from the upper part to the cup C in an erected state; a holder 28 for holding the straw S input to the cup C so that it can not move up and down; and a driving device 12 for moving the cup C vertically so that the straw S can be further inserted into the cup C after the straw S is input to the cup C.
