PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse Fourier transform electron spin resonance device for Q band and W band, by making most of the technique of an already-established pulse Fourier transform electron spin resonance device for X band. SOLUTION: This pulse Fourier transform electron spin resonance device is structured so that microwave pulsed magnetic field for observation is irradiated to a sample, placed inside a resonator disposed in a static magnetic field, with the magnetic field generated by an oscillator and by a pulse-shaping circuit placed on its subsequent stage, a response signal emitted from the sample, excited by the magnetic field, is detected by a detector after the irradiation, and the detected signal is subjected to digital-conversion and is then subjected to Fourier-conversion, to obtain electron spin resonance spectrum. In this resonance device, a frequency multiplier for microwave frequency multiplication is inserted between the shaping circuit and the resonator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
