PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace gas measuring instrument capable of being directly inserted in a furnace by dispensing with the drawing-around of a sampling flow channel. SOLUTION: The furnace gas measuring instrument is constituted of a probe 20 constituted by providing a gas sensor 21 to one end of a pipe body so as to expose the same to an atmosphere and attaching metal fittings 10, having the window 12 for supporting the probe 20 movable in the axial direction. The attaching metal fittings 10 are fixed to a furnace wall A for demarcating an environment to be measured and the probe 20 is inserted through the window 12 to position the gas sensor 21 in a predetermined region of the environment to be measured.
