PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold storage type cooling unit configured so that a suction hole is formed in the center of the casing lower part to allow a cool wind to blow out from blowout holes formed at the right and the left end of the casing upper part, capable of solving the problem originating from heat intrusion. SOLUTION: The cold storage type cooling unit is structured so that a cooling coil 8 for cold storage coupled with a refrigerating cycle for air-conditioning of a vehicle, a cold storage pack 31 encapsulating a cold storage material to perform cooling with the coil 8, and a fan to suck in the air and blow it out are installed in a casing furnished with the air suction hole and the blowout holes for the cool wind, in which the suction hole is arranged in the center of the lower part while the blowout holes are located near the right and left ends of the upper part, wherein the arrangement further includes an internal case 35 to store the coil 8 and the pack 31.
