PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate visceral fat with a high precision from subcutaneous fat and an abdominal circumference measured by themselves. SOLUTION: The visceral fat is estimated with a high precision by switching an estimation formula depending on a thickness of the subcutaneous fat. According to the visceral fat estimating method, the visceral fat is estimated with a high precision from the thickness of the subcutaneous fat and the abdominal circumference at a predetermined position by a navel.
