Device for filling and venting a mold cavity comprises a horizontal carriage (5) bearing a vertical carriage (1) bearing a tube clamp (12) and a tube connector clamp (10), whereby a tube (8) is fed into the hollow piston rod of a pressure cylinder mounted on a plate (16) so that the bottom of the tube is passed through an opening in the plate into a port in the upper part of the mold while the top of the tube is coupled to the cylinder with a tube connector (11).
