IMAGE SIMULATION DEVICE AND METHOD OF MELANGE YARN AND PROGRAM

Color image of a fabric of mélange yarns is read in, a sampling range is determined and histogram of a color value is made. Spice color is extracted for each hue in the histogram and other colors are merged as normal colors in order to decrease the number of colors thus decreasing the number of normal colors constituting mélange yarns. Histogram of the color value of mélange yarns is simulated by the normal color and its frequency and the spice color and its frequency. Image of mélange yarns can be simulated from a fabric sample of mélange yarns.
