<p>A seat slide device for a vehicle in which noise can be prevented from occurring. The seat slide device comprises a lower rail (40), an upper rail (50), a lock mechanism (60), a release lever (1), and a stopper (10a). The lock mechanism (60) comprises a plurality of lock holes (41) formed in the lower rail (40) and arranged parallel with the longitudinal direction of the lower rail (40) and a lock lever (63) fitted to the upper rail (50), rotated around a rotating axis (61) extending in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail (50), and engageable with and disengageable from one of the lock holes (41). The release lever (1) rotates the lock lever (63) to release the engagement of the lock holes (41) with the lock lever (63), and the stopper (10a) restricts the position of the release lever (1) separated from the lock lever (63). A coating layer (5) formed of a resin is provided at least on the contact parts (1a, 1b) of the release lever (1) brought into contact with the lock lever (63) and the stopper (10a).</p> |
