<p>An apparatus for receiving an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal is disclosed. An apparatus for receiving an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal using a pseudo noise (PN) sequence as a training signal includes a frame synchronization unit for generating a frame synchronous signal of a received signal, a synchronous-signal remover for removing the frame- sync signal contained in a frame of the synchronous received signal and a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) unit for receiving the output signal of the synchronous-signal remover, and converting the received signal into a frequency-domain signal. Therefore, the apparatus prevents an OFDM signal from being distorted by a multipath channel, and increases a performance of channel equalization.</p> |
