PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a data processor capable of reproducing TS data accurately.

SOLUTION: The data processor 1 edits the TS data. The TS data are composed of a TS packet containing video image data and sound ones, a PAT packet for identifying the TS packet, and a PMT packet. The data processor 1 has an editor 9 for editing the TS data so that the PAT and PMT packets are read before the TS packet is reproduced corresponding to the PAT and PMT packets.
