摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emission display that can correct light emission efficiency and brightness generated from a fluorescent material, wherein a driving circuit is simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emission display has a first substrate 2 and a second substrate 4 placed so as to face to each other, a cathode electrode 6, 7 formed on the first substrate, an electron emission member 12 electrically connected to the cathode electrode, red, green, and blue fluorescent layers 18 formed on the second substrate so as to face the first substrate. The cathode electrode 6, 7 includes the first electrode formed on the first substrate with an opening having a size that is the same as that of each unit pixel, the second electrode formed separate from the first electrode in an opening, and a resistant layer formed between the first electrode and the second electrode for connecting the first and the second electrodes. The distance between the first electrode and the second electrode corresponding to each of red, green and blue fluorescent layers is determined according to the light emission efficiency of each of the each red, green, and blue fluorescent layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
