<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance support system for a monitoring control device, in which restoration time of the monitoring control device, in the event of a monitoring control device failure, can be shortened, compared with in the past, and the burden of an operator and a maintenance person can be reduced, compared with in the past. <P>SOLUTION: A maintenance support device 203' is ordinarily connected to a network 20 to which the monitoring control device 101 is connected. The monitoring control device 101 comprises a network input and output part A106 outputting failure information c stored in a failure information database 105 to the network 20.
