PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute sufficient purge process without making air fuel ratio control unstable. SOLUTION: Engine ECU executes a program including steps S130-S170 calculating execution purge ratio pgr gradually increasing from base purge ratio pgr_base by purge correction quantity pgr_cc at a time of cruising when cruise control is turned on (YES in S100), and steps S190-S230 calculating execution purge ratio pgr gradually decreasing from final value pg(tarr_fin) of target purge ratio by purge correction quantity pgr_cc at the time of cruising when cruise control is turned off (NO in S180).
