Anhydrous composition (A) contains at least one each of solid peroxo compound (I) and alkalizing agent (II); also (A1) at least one non-hydroxylated fatty acid ester (III) with m. pt. at most 50, especially 30, [deg]C and (A2) at least one 10-30C fatty acid (IV) with at least one additional hydroxy and/or its derivative. An independent claim is included for a composition for lightening keratin fibers, particularly human hair, that is prepared by mixing, before use, (A) and a composition (B) that contains at least one oxidizing agent.
