The mixer has individual arbitrarily combinable exchangeable, mechanically and electrically separable functional blocks, where the blocks are arbitrarily combinable by a mechanical and electrical connection system. The blocks are connected using stable mechanical clamping devices. Individual, mechanical and electrical connection units are provided for flexible arrangement of the individual blocks. Allocation of the blocks to corresponding signal path is freely selectable.
