<p>A color correction method, color correction device, and color correction program for correcting color balance in consideration of the subject without degrading the stored color. White color evaluation value calculating means (1) references an input image and calculates a white color evaluation value. Stored color evaluation value calculating means (2) references the input image and calculates the ratio of the impression of the stored color to the input image as a stored color evaluation value. White color correction gain calculating means (22) calculates the white correction gain for making the white color evaluation value an achromatic color value. Gain adjusting means (21) calculates a conversion coefficient which is large when the stored color evaluation value is small and is small when it is large, adjusts the white color gain by causing the calculated conversion coefficient to act on the white color gain, and calculates a conversion correction parameter. Image conversion means (4) converts the pixel values of the input image according to the conversion correction parameter, calculates the pixel values after correction, and creates an output image whose colors are corrected most suitably.</p> |
