<p>This invention relates to a fuel and a method for the production thereof. The method is characterized by the stages of disintegrating offal into smaller component parts (in a disintegrator 2) and supplying the same batchwise to a mixing device (7)). To the same mixing device, a finely divided fibre maerial having a certain dry content (from a store (3) or a second disintegrator (5)), and on the other hand a smaller share of disinfectant in the form of tall oil (from a tank (6)) are further batchwisely supplied. Said components are mixed and homogenized during a certain retention time in the mixing device, while liquid in the component parts of the offal being absorbed and bound by the component parts of the fibre material so as to form solid pellet-like or briquet-like bodies.</p> |
