<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of providing a comfortable environment within a wide range of a room by uniforming temperature distribution of the room even during cooling, and even during heating. <P>SOLUTION: A wall mounted type indoor unit of a separate-type air conditioner is provided with a horizontally long air blow-out opening, a sub blowing device for air supply or circulation, and a sub blow-out opening opened above a center part of the air blow-out opening and blowing out a sub air current of the sub blowing device.
