<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reproduction accuracy of signals recorded in recording layers as objects of signal reproduction without being affected by interlayer cross-talk of a multilayered optical disk in an optical pickup apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup apparatus is provided with a light shielding plate 13 having a light shielding part 13b shielding a center part of laser light with which the optical disk DK having the plurality of recording layers is irradiated, a condenser lens 21 condensing reflected light from the optical disk DK and a pinhole plate 22 having a pinhole 22a having a size corresponding to a luminous flux diameter of reflected light reflected from the recording layer on which an optical spot is formed and condensed by the condenser lens 21. The diameter of the light shielding part 13b of the light shielding plate 13 is regulated so that the inside diameter of a ring-shaped condensed luminous flux formed on the pinhole plate 22 by reflection light reflected from the recording layer except the recording layer on which the optical spot is formed and condensed by the condenser lens 21 is made to be equal to or larger than the diameter of the pinhole 22a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
