METAL CATALYST AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal catalyst comprising carrier particles and metal fine particles with a diameter further smaller than present diameter deposited on the surfaces of the carrier particles and a method for manufacturing the metal catalyst.

SOLUTION: The metal catalyst comprises oxidized carbon black as carrier particles and a large number of metal fine particles deposited on the surface of the carbon black. The manufacturing method involves oxidizing carbon black and thereafter depositing metal fine particles on the surface by liquid-phase reduction method.
