<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for reserving a separate transmission when transmitting the same original image to both a relaying apparatus and a usual facsimile machine in a facsimile machine used in a facsimile transmission system utilizing an Internet mail. SOLUTION: A mail address of a destination and a telephone number of a destination are mixed and specified as destination information, and stored in RAM 7 (steps S1-S6) of Fig. 6). For a destination specified by the electronic mail address, a main control unit 1 calls the relaying apparatus 60 to send out information on the electronic mail address and image data of the facsimile to be transmitted using IRA signal which is a procedure signal of a the facsimile (steps S9-S15). For a destination specified by a telephone number, the main control unit 1 also calls a communication terminal apparatus by the telephone numbers to send out above image data (steps S23-S26 of Fig. 7).</p> |
