PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety energy beam curable composition curing device superior in recording stability. SOLUTION: This energy beam curable composition curing device applies a coating liquid including an energy beam curable composition to a base material P, and then cures the energy beam curable composition by irradiating it with an energy beam. The energy beam curable composition curing device comprises an energy beam curable composition applying section, an energy beam irradiation section 4, and a drive section for relatively moving the base material P from the energy beam curable composition applying section to the energy beam irradiation section 4. The energy beam curable composition curing device further comprises a light tight section 8 consisting of a softened material provided to the lowermost section of the energy beam irradiation section 4.
