摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent AF accuracy from getting low even when the focal distance of a photographic optical system gets long, and to increase AF speed. SOLUTION: The double image coincidence type range finder has: a beam splitter 1 which is arranged on the optical axis of the photographic optical system 21 having a zoom function to form an image on an imaging device; a reference mirror 10 which is rotatably arranged at a position separate from the beam splitter by predetermined base length; and a distance input operation member 11 which rotates the reference mirror so that an image by luminous flux from the beam splitter may be superposed on an image by luminous flux from the reference mirror. The range finder, where the beam splitter is positioned on the subject side of the photographic optical system, is provided with a distance signal output means which converts a distance shown by the distance input amount of the distance input operation member into a distance signal and outputs it to the digital camera.
