PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the suction amount of an ink which should be discarded to be adjusted quickly and simply. SOLUTION: One cap body 50 is divided into two cap parts 50a and 50b so as to cover the opening face of two or more nozzle trains of an inkjet head. The cap body is connected to a rotary 4-ports change valve through tubes for every each cap part 50a and 50b, and it is connected to a discarded-ink absorber through a tubular suction pump. An elevator 52 is mounted by a liftable and lowerable manner to a base body 51 through parallel links 53, and the cap body 50 is arranged on the elevator 52 with being shifted upward. The connecting part 52b of the elevator 52 is pressed by moving a carriage 13 in the direction of an arrow head C, then the cap body 50 is raised against the shifting force of the second spring 55 and closely contacted to a nozzle face 12a. If the carriage 13 is moved in the direction of the arrow head D during operating the suction pump, the cap-release can be made by the force of the second spring 55. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
