PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary-electric machine for surely holding/fixing a voltage equalizing wire 4 using an inexpensive means. SOLUTION: The voltage equalizing wire 4 is wound onto four magnetic field iron cores 5a-5d. One end of the voltage equalizing wire 4 is electrically and mechanically connected to one connection terminal 11. The other end of the voltage equalizing wire 4 is electrically and mechanically connected to the other connection terminal 12. Since the voltage equalizing wire 4 can be mechanically and tightly held, the equalizing wire 4 is prevented from being disconnected by a vibration. The winding direction of the voltage equalizing wire 4 to the magnetic field iron core 5a-5d is determined so as to make the direction of a magnetic field generated by a cyclic current suppress a change in a magnetic field generated by a current flowing in magnetic field iron windings 6a-6d when the cyclic current flows in the voltage equalizing wire 4 due to a potential difference between a pair of positive and negative brushes 3a, 3b. Since a connection is implemented in the direction for canceling an imbalance of the magnetic field due to the cyclic current if there is no voltage equalizing wire 4, an output performance can be stabilized.
