PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for a vehicle collision test capable of regenerating a pitching, yawing or roll-over phenomenon generated when a vehicle is crashed, and capable of carrying out the collision test for a safety device such as an air bag, without being broken by crashing actually the vehicle. SOLUTION: This device includes a running frame arranged movably along a guide rail, a mounting frame arranged in an upper side of the running frame to mount the vehicle, six vehicle posture control cylinders for connecting the running frame to the mounting frame and for driving the mounting frame at six degrees of freedom, a hydraulic oil pressure accumulation tank mounted on the running frame and connected to the six vehicle posture control cylinders via a remote opening and closing valve, a brake unit for braking the running frame, a frame drive unit for moving the running frame along the guide rail, and a controller for controlling the brake unit, the frame drive unit and the remote opening and closing valve, based on an input operation condition.
