PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for calibrating surface potentiometers and capable of easily calibrating surface potentiometers at low costs and provide a calibration method using the same. SOLUTION: The fixture 1 for calibration is provided with an upper plate 2; a side plate 5a (first side plate) continuously provided for a side S1 (first side) of the upper plate 2; a side plate 5b (second side plate) continuously provided for a side S2 (second side) opposed to the side S1 of the upper plate 2; and an opening part 3 which is provided for the upper plate 2 and in which a probe of a surface potentiometer to be calibrated is to be inserted.
