摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of inhibiting torque shock at a time of termination of fuel cut attendant on drop of engine rotation speed. SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine executes fuel cut stopping fuel supply to the internal combustion engine and keeps the throttle valve openingθt larger than an openingθti of a time when the internal combustion engine is under idling condition, under deceleration condition. Fuel cut is terminated when engine rotation speed NE gets to a predetermined rotation speed E or less during execution of fuel cut and the throttle valve openingθt is controlled to an openingθti of the time of idling condition in case the fuel cut is terminated.
