摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portal frame developing sufficient strength, manufacturable at relatively low material cost, and relatively is easily constructed. SOLUTION: This portal frame comprises a first column body 30, a second column body 40, and a beam body 20 of which one end is joined to the side face of the first column body 30 and of which other end is joined to the side face of the second column body. The portion of the first column body 30 at the same height as the beam body 20 is designated as a first column beam height portion 51. The portion of the first column body 30 on the lower side of the beam body 20 is designated as a first column beam lower portion 52. The portion of the second column body 40 at the same height as the beam body 20 is designated as a second column beam height portion 61. The portion of the second column body 40 on the lower side of the beam body 20 is designated as a second column beam lower portion 62. An L-shaped first structural surface material 50 across the beam body 20, the first column beam height portion 51, and the first column beam lower portion 52 is secured to both surfaces of the joint part of the beam body 20 to the first column body 30. An L-shaped second structural surface material 60 across the beam body 20, the second column beam height portion 61, and the second column beam lower portion 62 is secured to both surfaces of the joint part of the beam body 20 to the second column body 40.
