PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for three-dimensional transplanting of hair achieving improved characteristics. SOLUTION: An apparatus having a spraying unit, a hair-transplanting unit, a drive source supplying compressed air to the spraying unit, a pile-supplying container supplying pile to the spraying unit and a charge supplying device having a positive charge supplying terminal and a negative charge supplying terminal is used to coat an adhesive to one or more surfaces of a three-dimensional member. The positive charge supplying terminal is connected electrically to the hair-transplanting unit to form a positive charge, and the negative charge supplying terminal is connected electrically to the hair-transplanting unit through the electrostatic field from the hair-transplanting unit to the set member so as to form a negative charge. The spraying unit is then operated so as to spray pile from the hair-transplanting unit toward one or more surfaces of the member and adhere the pile to one or more surfaces of the member for transplantation of hair.
