PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine in which a new model can be easily developed and it is possible to prevent a fraudulent program from being resident in an unused storage region in the slot machine which carries over the fact that a special role is decided until the special role is won. SOLUTION: An internal winning flag storage work (iwin_flag) is constituted of a special role region where the winning flag of the special role is set and a general role region where the winning flag of a general role is set. A CPU 41a stores data based on the result of internal drawing in the general role region for each game, stores data indicating that the special role is won by the internal drawing in the special role region when that happens, and maintains them until the special role is won. Also, both of the special role region and the general role region are allocated to a region not to be initialized for each game in a RAM 41c.
