PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying facility capable of enhancing safety by avoiding collision of a traveling truck with a worker during maintenance work and collision between traveling trucks. SOLUTION: Along a traveling route R of the plurality of traveling trucks 3 for conveying articles, a feeder wire is installed. Parts to receive electric power from the feeder wire are provided in the plurality of traveling trucks 3, and truck anchoring parts r2 are provided on part of the traveling route R. An electric power supply control means for controlling electric power supply to the feeder wire is set in an electric power feeding state to supply electric power to the feeder wire, in a truck approach allowing state where truck gateway opening/closing detecting means 34, 35 detect an opening state and a worker gateway opening/closing detecting means 36 detects a closing state and in a truck holding state where the truck gateway opening/closing detecting means 34, 35 detect a closing state and an anchoring detecting means detects an anchoring state. Meanwhile, the electric power supply control means is set in an electric power feeding stop state to stop electric power supply to the feeder wire, in a state other than the truck approach allowing state and truck holding state.
