PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of accomplishing enhancement in sense of security of a passenger at elevator utilization by one person and protection of privacy while ensuring crime prevention property. SOLUTION: A control means (1) drives a drive body according to detection of elevator utilization by one person by a passenger detection means (6), stores a security camera in a storage body and closes a shield to shield an opening. It drives a drive body according to detection of elevator utilization by a plurality of persons by the passenger detection means (6), opens the shield and projects the security 5 into a car 2. Thus, the consciousness, that the person is seen by anyone, which may be thought by the passenger is wiped away by making the security camera 5 in the non-operation state at elevator utilization by one person.
