PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handbag which can be easily disassembled by decreasing an amount of a flat bonding member used for reinforcing a handle with an opening reinforcing cardboard using a flat bonding member such as an adhesive double coated tape, the handbag having a through-hole for a finger hook formed on each of front and back surfaces of a bag body having an open upper end and a closed lower end, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The handbag comprises a turnaround piece 6 extending from the upper end 5 of a bag body 2 to the upper edge 8A of the through-hole 8 for finger hook, a through-hole 7 formed at the upper edge 8A of the through-hole 8 and capable of being turned around, and the opening reinforcing cardboard 10 having a width enabling its existence between the upper end 5 and the upper edge 8A and longer than the upper edge 8A of the through-hole 8. The through-hole for finger hook is reinforced by bonding the turnaround piece 6 and the opening reinforcing cardboard 10 to each other with two surface-like bonding members 9 each having a surface area smaller than that between the upper end 5 and the upper edge 8A of the through-hole 8, and turning and overlapping the through-hole 7 on the opening reinforcing cardboard 10.
