The automatic activating device of exhaust gas systems has an inclination sensor (3) which is built into or onto an exhaust gas hose (2). The inclination sensor may be built into or onto a commercially available suction slot duct or into or onto a suction unit. The inclination sensor transmits a switching signal to a radio receiver by means of a radio transmitter, collector rail or cable connection.
