The invention relates to a method and device for the inoculation of products and/or additives in casting ladles and furnaces for casting parts. The invention is suitable for a casting ladle or furnace that is used to cast parts and is equipped with a nozzle (5) which is used to pour molten metal onto a mould (6) that is disposed beneath the nozzle (5) and which is provided with a closure pin (7) that can define a lower nozzle-sealing position and an upper nozzle-opening position. According to the invention, products and/or additives are conveyed through the closure pin (7) in a direction coaxial to the jet or stream of metal falling from the outlet port (4) in the casting furnace towards the part-forming mould (6).
