The device has an external gas duct system (2) which is connected to two cylinders (II,III or I,IV) of an internal combustion engine (1), whereas the two cylinders are working together and shifted about a crankshaft angle of 360[deg] gradient. A first branch (3) of the exhaust gas duct system is connected to one of a cylinder (II or I). A second branch (3') of the exhaust gas duct system is connected to the other cylinder (III or IV). The position opening (5) is arranged in the checking duct (4) for the exhaust gas probe (6). |
