An exemplary method for controlling an electronic imaging device (10) may include detecting (50) a sweeping motion on a touch pad (20), and scrolling a feature of the electronic imaging device in response. The method may also include detecting (52) a tap on a predetermined location on the touch pad, and in response selecting one of a plurality of features of the electronic imaging device to be scrolled when a next sweeping motion is detected on the touch pad.
