FIELD: processes and technique used in agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves generating signal indicative of temperature sensible in house within the range of allowable minimum and maximum temperature values; calculating costs of power consumed for radiant local and total heating and cost of product obtained from given batch of animals or poultry; calculating losses of heat energy in house depending on inner air temperature within house; calculating two differences between last and first cost values as two profit values in maximum livestock productivity mode; subtracting first value from second value to produce third cost difference between two first differences in the form of increment in profit; determining maximum value of last profit difference in the form of numerical value of criterion of increment in profit and signal indicative of generated value of temperature sensible in house; comparing signal indicative of temperature sensible in house and corresponding to the last maximum cost difference with measured value of temperature sensible in house; on the basis of comparison results, correcting radiant local heating mode for farm young animals and for total heating of animal or poultry house. Apparatus has unit for setting of livestock age, unit for setting of minimum and maximum values of sensible temperature allowed by process, unit for setting of request time, unit for setting of signal indicative of generated value of sensible temperature and constants. Outputs of unit for setting of livestock age, minimum and maximum admissible sensible temperatures, request time, signal indicative of generated value of sensible temperature and of constants are connected to respective additional inputs of calculating unit.
