<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication cable in which mechanical strength of a sheath of the communication cable is retained and the sheath can be peeled out and removed easily, thereby workability of leading out and intermediate later-branching is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The communication cable 1 is constructed of a cable core 3 containing a communication line and a sheath 5 covering the outer circumference of this cable core 3. Furthermore, the sheath 5 is provided with an inner layer sheath 5A and an outer layer sheath 5B that is provided at the outer circumference of the inner layer sheath 5A. A first notch part 9 of one line or more is provided on at least one face of the outer surface and inner surface of the inner layer sheath 5A and furthermore, a second notch part 11 of one line or more is provided on at least one face of the outer surface and inner surface of the outer layer sheath 5B, and the first notch part 9 and the second notch part 11 are provided at locations mutually shifted in the circumferential direction of the sheath 5 when viewed from cross section crossing at right angles in the longitudinal direction of the cable core 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
