<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color separation while predicting the image quality of an output image by optimizing the granularity evaluation value in combination when color separation of image data is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a colorimetric section 14 for reading a printed patch image and performing colorimetry, and an optimization section 12 for calculating the granularity of the patch image subjected to colorimetry at the colorimetric section 14, and calculating parameters for determining such image formation conditions as minimizing the granularity based on optimization conditions set at a UI section 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
