<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-processing device which acquires desired image quality even if parts having the same luminance and different color tones are included in an image. <P>SOLUTION: Based on the input of a non-correction area in an image displayed on a monitor 17, a control part 523 obstructs at least either the operation of an image-generating part 521 for adjustment, or the operation of an image-combining part 522. In this case, the image-generating part 521 for adjustment executes intensity conversion to inputted images in accordance with their pixel values to sample them in orthogonal bases, and processes with a low-pass filter each sampled image obtained by the sampling, and then adds each sampled image posterior to the processing with the filter to generate an image for adjustment, wherein the each sampled image is multiplied by weight coefficients depending on the used orthogonal bases.
