<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing mold generation by which growth of mold can be controlled for a long period with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: Moisture in the air is absorbed by an absorbing material rotor 17 rotating slowly under dehumidifying operation so that dehumidification may be carried out. The dehumidified air is returned into a bathroom through a circulation air path 21. When a relative humidity does not reach 51% even after dehumidifying operation of 4 hours or longer, the operation is finalized. When the relative humidity reaches 51% within 4 hours, the dehumidifying operation is stopped (the dehumidification means is turned off), and when the relative humidity reaches 60% or above, the dehumidifying operation resumes. When the relative humidity does not reach 60% or above even after elapsing of four hours or longer since the dehumidifying operation is stopped, the operation is finalized. Thus, the use of a timer and a counter together with a humidity sensor enables the mold preventing operation with lower power consumption irrespective of the seasons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
