<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emission source easier to manufacture, having fine carbon fiber more uniformly distributed in comparison with a conventional electron emission device. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emission source has at least a granular part formed into a three-dimensional network composed of carbon fiber having outer diameters of 15 to 100 nm, by mutually jointing the plurality of pieces of the extended carbon fiber. The granular part is turned into the electron emission source by preparing carbon fiber structure dispersion liquid composed of the carbon fiber structure formed at a growing process of the carbon fiber, and binder resin, applying the carbon fiber structure dispersion liquid on a substrate, and by solidifying it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
