SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR BRAKE PEDAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the retreat of a brake pedal by a simple constitution even if the front a vehicle collides.

SOLUTION: This support structure for the brake pedal is constituted of: a first supporting member 14c for pivotally supporting one end of a rotating shaft 16 formed at the brake pedal 15; a second supporting member 14b for pivotally supporting the other end of the rotating shaft 16 so as to be isolated from the brake pedal 15; an abutting member 19 provided between a deck cross member 13 and the rotating shaft 16; and a low rigidity section 14e, part of the first supporting member 14c which is formed so as to have lower rigidity than the rotating shaft 16 and the abutting member 19.
