PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray cooler and a projector capable of positively supplying a refrigerant to a center part of a heat source, and hardly causing dryout even with a high heating amount. SOLUTION: The spray cooler 1 is provided with a refrigerant transport means 302 for transporting the refrigerant 28 provided separated from an inner wall surface of a casing 11, and a spraying means 3 for spraying the refrigerant 28 supplied from the refrigerant transport means 302 in a heat source direction.
