PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal melting/tapping device capable of stably and continuously tapping molten metal of metal melted by a melting furnace through an electromagnetic nozzle arranged in the bottom part of the melting furnace, of reducing a nozzle closing time of the electromagnetic nozzle, and of surely preventing variation of a molten metal flow. SOLUTION: This metal melting/tapping device 1 includes a semilevitation melting furnace (melting furnace) 2, and the electromagnetic nozzle 10 arranged in the bottom part of the melting furnace 2 for tapping the molten metal M of the metal. The electromagnetic nozzle 10 is provided with: a nozzle body 11 forming a nearly reverse conical shape; a tapping port 16 vertically drooping from the center part of the bottom part of the nozzle body 11; a heating element 20 arranged inside the tapping port 16 and forming a nearly cylindrical shape; and a low-wettability member 30 covering the bottom surface and the side surface of the heating element 20 and having a wettability to the molten metal M of the metal lower than that of the heating element 20.
