PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF coil which can suppress coupling while improving the degree of freedom in the design and arrangement of coils. SOLUTION: The RF coil part 14 for a magnetic resonance imaging system 1 is provided with: a center coil 41 surrounding a subject SU around a body axis; an auxiliary coil 42A arranged on one end side of the center coil 41 in the direction of the body axis and having loop parts 51AR and 51AL which are opposed to each other; and an auxiliary coil 42B arranged on the other end side of the center coil 41 and having loop parts 51BR and 51BL which are opposed to each other sandwiching the body axis. The loop part 51AL and the loop part 51BR are arranged on the sides opposed to each other with respect to the body axis, and connected so that the directions of current generated due to the increase of magnetic fluxes in the same direction become opposite to each other.
